Good morning everyone! I\\\'ve been so busy setting up our new farmigo computer system that I completely forgot to update our existing website with some fresh news! I just changed the poultry harvest dates to reflect this years schedule, and then I thought I could take a minute to fill you in on the days activities. Today we are planting our tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, basil, peruvian ground cherries, sweet potatoes, and ginger into the portable field hoophouses here at field one, our home site on Kirsop Road.
Also, after a quick first job of the day loading the market truck, I set out to do a quick second job of the day harvesting oyster mushrooms from our little grow house, and that was fine, but we\\\'ve been noticing more and more that there are too many slugs in there. Slugs love to eat mushrooms. So, my third quick job of the day will slug harvest, followed by feeding of same to hungry baby turkeys. Should be a hoot!
